Yes. Beginning January 1, 2026, you can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for your Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership.   Federal law now recognizes DPC as a qualified medical expense. How it works You can use your HSA to pay for your monthly membership fee, as long as you also have a qualifying High‑Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).Most patients already do. Are there limits? Yes. Federal guidelines allow HSA funds to be used for DPC membership fees up to: $150 per month for an individual $300 per month for a family What can I pay for with my HSA? You can use your HSA for: Your monthly DPC membership fee Any additional qualified medical expenses not covered by your membership Certain labs, medications, or imaging ordered by your doctor (depending on your HSA plan) Does joining a DPC practice affect my ability to contribute to my HSA? No. Starting in 2026, being a DPC member no longer disqualifies you from contributing to your HSA. You can keep saving tax‑free just like before. How do I pay with my HSA?
